Artist's Description
Displayed are some primitive musical instruments collected from my travels abroad and other sources. The two string guitar came from Algeria, the harp is from Central Africa Republic, the Jackal mask is from Guatemala, the percussion frog from Central America and the rattle from West Africa.
The original painting was destroyed in Paradise, CA's "Camp Fire" in 2018. Prints and other products are only available here.

About Ben Saturen
Oil painter, printmaker, muralist, faux finish artist and educator, BEN SATUREN, was inspired to portray ocean life while snorkeling in the Red Sea where he observed subjects rarely portrayed on canvas. Awarded “Artist of the Year” by Project Reefkeeper, Ben’s images include wildlife, landscapes, still life, and geometric abstracts. It must mean that most people don't know what to say or they don't know or appreciate what it takes to create fine art or we are just swamped with visual images mostly from photos.
