African Musical Instruments metal print by Ben Saturen.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

Displayed are some primitive musical instruments collected from my travels abroad and other sources. The two string guitar came from Algeria, the harp is from Central Africa Republic, the Jackal mask is from Guatemala, the percussion frog from Central America and the rattle from West Africa.

The original painting was destroyed in Paradise, CA's "Camp Fire" in 2018. Prints and other products are only available here.

Ben Saturen

Oil painter, printmaker, muralist, faux finish artist and educator, BEN SATUREN, was inspired to portray ocean life while snorkeling in the Red Sea where he observed subjects rarely portrayed on canvas. Awarded “Artist of the Year” by Project Reefkeeper, Ben’s images include wildlife, landscapes, still life, and geometric abstracts. His styles range from super-realism to cartoon characters to faux finishes.
