That's a tragic loss in my humble opinion. I'm so sorry Ben. It's gorgeous. Your detail and tones and light are so rich. Amazing work! l/f!

Artist's Description

Two octopi journey through a luxurious kelp forest. The sun pierces the ocean’s surface creating scattered shafts of light, illuminating parts of a carpeted floor home to the multitude of forest denizens. Occasionally the kelp divides opening a gap and revealing a quick encounter by an Orange Garibaldi Fish, a Yellow Sea Anemone, Ocher Sea Star, and Purple Sea Urchin between the weaving beds of drifting leaves swaying to and fro in the tidal current.
The original painting was destroyed in Paradise, CA's "Camp Fire" in 2018. These prints and other products are only available here.
