The Lionfish is known for its exotic features - striking fin pattern, toxic threat, and lately for overtaking Florida's shores. In spite of all its negativeness it can provide a beautiful portrait of its species.

Oil painter, printmaker, muralist, faux finish artist and educator, BEN SATUREN, was inspired to portray ocean life while snorkeling in the Red Sea where he observed subjects rarely portrayed on canvas.
