In the world of bizarre and absurd creatures, the ocean is full of such animals which appear so unlike land animals in looks and behaviors. So little of the deep sea has been explored that even today new creatures are being revealed to our amazement and knowledgebase.
About Ben Saturen
Oil painter, printmaker, muralist, faux finish artist and educator, BEN SATUREN, was inspired to portray ocean life while snorkeling in the Red Sea where he observed subjects rarely portrayed on canvas. Awarded “Artist of the Year” by Project Reefkeeper, Ben’s images include wildlife, landscapes, still life, and geometric abstracts. His styles range from super-realism to cartoon characters to faux finishes.
