Artist's Description
Upon visiting a Norman Rockwell Exhibition, Artist Ben Saturen encountered an easel prop setup similar to Rockwell's famous self-portrait awaiting for anyone to be seated. Encouraged by his accompanying guests Ben reluctantly sat down for his personal portrayal.
Unfortunately the original painting was destroyed in 2018 California's 'Camp Fire'. The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California's history.

I love this Ben! Beautiful work, and wonderful homage to Rockwell! I'm so sorry that the original is lost, and that you were so sadly hit by the fire.
