While visiting a greenhouse in the no longer existing [Thanks climate disaster] Mendon’s Plant Nursery, I came upon a small set of shelving holding several potted tropical/house plants. Not even sure why I snapped the photo but something inspired me to do it. While goofing around in Photoshop one day trying to come up with a unique design, I ended up liking this version best.
Oil painter, printmaker, muralist, faux finish artist and educator, BEN SATUREN, was inspired to portray ocean life while snorkeling in the Red Sea where he observed subjects rarely portrayed on canvas. Awarded “Artist of the Year” by Project Reefkeeper, Ben’s images include wildlife, landscapes, still life, and geometric abstracts.
