Indigenous to Cozumel, Mexico, this fish hides between the rocks secure in its grotesque shape and its poisonous reputation. Pug-nose Toadfishes are among the most poisonous of all marine creatures. Their four poisonous dorsal spines and gill covers cause painful (but not fatal) wounds.”
